M. David Hornbuckle is the author of Zen, Mississippi (Tritone Media, 2010) and The Salvation of Billy Wayne Carter and Other Stories (Tritone Media, 2009). His short fiction has been published in numerous literary magazines, as well as on the web. An Alabama native, he lived in New York City for ten years, where he worked as a freelance writer and editor before returning home to found this workshop program.
